From the 22nd of August until the 4th of September Eugene Eri Gad will exhibit his artworks on our Spotlight wall! These are to be admired in our exhibition space on the Goudsesingel 268 (and on days we are closed through the shop window), and they are also for sale here. Below is a short biography by Eugene, in his own words:
Eugene Eri Gad was born into the Family of Eleven, and he is the first boy in his family. A direct descendant of Eri Gad. Eri Gad the ancestral head of Eri Kingdom clans, the Ezeora dynasty that has produced 34 kings till date in Enugwu Aguleri. The family is the most influential and powerful in dynasties of priests and diviners in Igboland and west Africa in general. Born with special gifts which allow him to create art through meditation. All his artwork are nature-based. Tree of life. He is also a lightworker and a healer. Awakened and feels called to illuminate the dark places of life.
