Between the 21st of May and the 4th of June 2025 Xica Negra will exhibit her art drawings on our Spotlight wall! You can see and buy them in our expo at the Goudsesingel 268, on the days we are closed you can view them through the window.
Xica Negra is a Brazilian artist based in Rotterdam since 2019, drawing from her Indigenous Caiçara roots to explore nature as both presence and perception. Her work – spanning drawing, photography, collage, and installation – reimagines nature not as something distant, but as something alive in urban life and everyday moments. Through themes of interspecies communication and ecological heritage, Xica invites us to see the natural world from a new point of view—intimate, intuitive, and ever-present.
